Stackmates

Stackmates is a short puzzle-platformer where your extra lives become part of the level.

You play as a tiny worker trying to get to work on time. Pick up other workers to build a taller stack, giving yourself more chances to survive — but the taller you get, the harder it is to fit through tight spaces.

You can drop workers to create permanent bus stop checkpoints and platforms. These checkpoints can save you when you die, but each one gets used up, and dropped workers can’t be picked back up.

Sometimes progress costs a worker.
